Bare Boards, Components, and Assembly Labor, all under one roof.

The equipment we use to assemble your boards are of the highest caliber and leaders in the market. Say goodbye to stencils, added cost and time of having them manufactured. Jetting of liquids is becoming the standard in our industry and we have a unique tool to jet solder paste.   This non-contact method of applying solder paste has a large number of advantages compared to standard screen printing or dispensing. Jetting technology allows the buildup of paste by single dots to achieve the right amount for each SMT pad.  Special applications like pin in paste, applying paste in cavities and many more challenges of today’s requirement can be easily accommodated.

Combined with our state of the art pick and place the all-in-one machine that does more for your projects.  With a dual X drive system that combines high speed and high precision mount heads, advanced vision systems and a state-of-the-art linear drive motor technology, our state of the art P and P machine has the ability to place parts at a top speed of up to 40 000 components per hour. With 18 nozzles in total, we are capable of mounting a vast mix of component types, resulting in excellent throughput.

Finally our 8 zone reflow oven has the capability of handling various types of profiles that can match all of your components baking requirements. Many of our profiles are pre-loaded saving you time and money allowing you to get product to market faster and more cost effectively.

Our expanded Turn-Key assembly service is composed of two options:

  • Full Turn-Key: We will handle the entire process—including ordering all parts (circuit board and components), online order tracking and management, assembly, quality inspection and final shipment.

  • Partial Turn-Key: You can order the circuit board or components and SA Electronics will order the remaining parts, then handle order tracking and management, assembly, quality inspection and final shipment.

Turn-Key service is available in addition to our standard assembly services; which includes machine placed SMT assembly, leadless QFN and BGA assembly, fine-pitch component assembly and thru hole assembly.

We follow the same component kit requirements for the selected assembly service on Turn-Key jobs.

We Order Only the Parts You Specify

SA Electronics guarantees quality service on Turn-Key orders.  We do not stock components. We will buy the exact parts that you specify. This parts procurement policy will prevent:

  • unauthorized part substitutions

  • inappropriate part crosses

  • added expenses for wasted time and materials

  • ordering parts that can’t be used if their life span expires

Files We Need for Turn-Key Orders

Bill Of Materials(BOM) - We need a BOM listing the required circuit board and all component parts in Microsoft Excel or delimited format. Please highlight in red any components we will not be placing, or any parts that are not included in the kit.  BOM should include: Part #, Reference Designator, Description, and footprint (package).

Gerbers- Please send us all gerber files generated by your CAD program, we will need these files for fabrication PCB.

Centroid data or Pick-and-place or XY data - This is the machine file, which should include: X, Y, Theta, Side of Board (Top or Bottom), and Reference Designator.  If you cannot generate this file, we can generate from the gerber files.

Assembly Drawings - Are required for assembly, they do help to ensure all special PCB Assembly instructions are properly or PCBs  have a silkscreen which indicates polarity and 1st-pin markings.

Components - We request 5 extra minimum for discrete parts (for 0402 and smaller we request 10 extra),  for ICs, QFPs and BGAs we ask for 1 extra per components. We can place parts on cut tape of any length so there is no need to buy full reels.
